Municipal Assessments

The RM of Bratt’s Lake uses the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA) to calculate property assessments within the municipality. Each year, SAMA completes maintenance updates to reflect changes that may increase or decrease a property’s assessed value.

The Province mandates SAMA to conduct revaluations every four years using a new base date. The most recent full revaluation was completed province-wide in 2025 using a 2023 base date. Municipalities are required by legislation to use these assessed values when determining property taxes.
